My University!

I studied for my BSc in Physics with Astronomy at Cardiff University. I had a wonderful time here and would be more than willing to provide information for any interested members!

A bit more

Hey all!! Thought perhaps it may be useful for me to add a bit more info here.

Cardiff University is soaring up the league tables right now, and has a world-class Physics and Astronomy department. Research specialities include astronomical instrumentation, galaxy and star formation, optics and nanotechnology.

Students can opt to study a range of physics courses, including astrophysics, medical physics, computer science and physics, chemistry and physics, maths and physics and even physics and music!

Timetables include taught lectures, practicals, tutorials and observing. Students are given the option to use modern, high-tech laboratory equipement and have access to modern, well equipped libraries and computer labs.

Staff, despite maintaining excellent world class research, always have time for students and provide ample support throughout the learning process.

The city of Cardiff itself is an excellent student city, with much to do for all types of students. Accomodation is relative cheap.

In summary, an excellent educational experience!
