Bar-Ilan University
The Faculty of Exact Sciences is one of Bar-Ilan University's most dynamic faculties, highly acknowledged for its achievements in pure and applied research. Over 2,000 students study in the faculty's B.Sc., M.Sc. and Ph.D. programs. In addition, there are over 50 post-doctoral students, many hailing from as far away as the United States, Eastern Europe, China and India. Awarding Excellence and New Research Centers
A number of scientists in the faculty are recipients of prestigious Alon and Guastela Fellowships. Scientific prizes and research grants have been awarded to faculty members in recognition of work in their fields. Scientific inventions, discoveries and drugs developed in the various faculty departments have been granted patents. There are scientific cooperation agreements with universities in Europe and the United States and with individual scientists, including Nobel laureates. New research centers include the Gonda (Goldschmied) Medical Diagnostic Research Center, the Pearl and Jack Resnick Institute for Advanced Technology, and the Schottenstein Cellscan Center for Early Detection of Cancer
