SGAC welcomes two new regional coordinatoors

We are pleased to announce to you the results of the 2008 Regional Elections for Africa and Europe. Welcome Angela Whiteside and Michael Kio as our new Reginal Coordinators.

In Africa 63% of eligible voters have voted.

Michael Kio - 80% of votes
Onyema Benigna Ajuogu - 20% of votes

In Europe 94% of eligible votes have voted

Angela Whiteside - 100% of votes

Michael Kio is a chemical engineer and currently works with the Nigerian Space Agency. He is very interested in the peaceful uses of outer space and its resources. He is a very curious and inquisitive person who likes to interact with like minded people.

Angela Whiteside is a student from the UK. She has recently graduated from Cardiff University in Wales with a BSc in Physics and Astronomy, and currently taking Master of Research studies at Cranfield University.

She is a bit of a space nutter, and love all things to do with astronomy, planetary sciences and especially space travel. She hopes to pursue a career in the space industry.
