What leadership skills do you want?

We will be having a number of leadership development workshops at SGC this year. What type of skills do you think are important to be a future leader in the space area?

as we've seen before most of the time getting frustrated
doen't get much attention in the right direction
on the other hand being passive and positive
does not always pan out
mabe we could come up with a format that has definate
credantials only able to be given by the sgac
then each of us has equal credentials at the point
then we have an official form of "authority"
i know a good printer guy
mabe we could raise funds to print cards for those attending the sgc

PROJECT MANAGEMENT:
- Budgeting
- Fundraising
- Scheduling (and adjusting schedules)

TEAM MANAGEMENT:
- How to speak inspirationally to motivate people to your cause
- How to then make people follow up on their inspiration with ACTION
- How to manage international teams who must work collaboratively online

I believe these are every importance leadership development skills workshops at SGC this year because i believe to enable get people to be involve in our cause...Mostly,we from Africa needs these skills to get young people,givernment and other organisation to be involved in space activities..

Sure it must contain
PROJECT MANAGEMENT.
TEAM MANAGEMENT.
but i think it must Also contain Communication Skills . and presentation skills .
they are necessary for any Leader .
