Hotels

Well, after my week in Glasgow where I must have visited 20 hotels, its come down to just a few. There are three hotels I am working with and one hostel. The big worry is cost. Some people say SGAC and the SGC event will not be respected if we use a hostel. I had a long discussion with someone organising lodging for students and they had about $200 USD per day per student to spend. I explained that if we went with lodging that was that price, 10 nights there, plus travel costs, plus the registrations for both conferences would be nearly $5,000 USD and be more than some people make in a year! We just cannot do that. We are doing our best to find comfortable lodging in the range of 30 euros per night per person.
