An update

Dear all European SGAC-ers!

I just thought I'd post a quick entry to keep you up to date as to actions in Europe so far. It has been a while since my previous introductory email to NPoCs, but there is a reason for this- the exec is currently formulating an information pack describing the expectations of an NPoC, their duties and also what help is available to them within the organisation. I am holding out for this document at the moment, and when it is finished shall email it to all NPoCs in the European region.

I believe that this will help us organise our efforts and communication much easier, as, not only will it state specific tasks and feedback for you as NPoCs to adhere to, it will also give you a better comprehension of your role, how to get the most out of it and where you can find assistance and guidelines in doing it.

As one of my key roles as RC is simply to report back on events and activities occuring in all European countries, this system, I hope, will encourage regular, scheduled information to come to me in order that I can produce reports to pass on to the exec.

I'd like to thank all those who have contacted me so far with some excellent information and ideas for the organisation. All your opinions are catalogued and fed back into the work of the SGAC.
I reiterate that I always welcome communications, comments or suggestions for improvement, and would love to hear what you are all up to in spreading the space message!

I am still yet to hear from a number of European NPoCs- please, even if things are quiet in your country or you are going through a particularly busy time, please just give me a quick email.
