japan increases military use of satte;lites in space
considering the significance of japan on the world history map
how do you all feel about this?
Quite honestly it doesn't really bother me that much. Its just the natural progression of what we already expected. As we go to space both as individuals and as a society we will bring everything with us. It will become an extension of what we have on earth. Japan is doing what everyone is doing and simply extending their extant earth based systems into space.
Relating specifically to the historical Japan as a warlike and expansionistic nation I would simply reply thusly - what civilization with any length of history has not shown such tendencies? And in their history since the second world war what have they done to make us any more fearful that we should be of British military satellites?
For sure Japan is only trying to show its technological supremacy but I don't think if there could be another missusing of her power as it was in the second world war.
Japan is having all good reasons in avoiding destructive and dangerous military operations from the effects she is still facing for a long time now.
We should however continue to encourage peaceful use of outer space because military operations endanger the human livelihood.
