Tourism and cultural haritage and space technology
Dear All,
We SGAC can ask help to UN,European space agency/NASA for data on tourist/cultural heritage spots in under developed countries.
Then that data we can share with every countries national point of contact. This data we can share with our government/civil society/ business communities.
we can show them how space technology can play a good role for tourism sector and how can government/country can be benefited by using space technology.
For motivation of government/civil society/business people we need to do something real.
Pls every one put ideas and how we can run this project very actively.

Actually, there are examples of such use, but there is acute lack of coordination and infra-structure.

Space can even help in monitoring safe use of natural resources especially those which attract tourists.
