The SGC organising team has done a fantastic job promoting this year and we are pleased to see the following results:
- There are over 250 applicants (Highest ever for a conference outside the US).
- A greater percentage of female applicants than ever before.
- There are applicants from 61 different countries (more than ever) and several countries that have not had applicants in the past.
- There are 80 applicants who have been accepted to present their own papers at the IAC
These are just some of the numbers that show how great the applicants are this year. We look forward to reviewing the applications and hosting a great Space Generation Congress.

The first round of applications has closed, but you can apply still at for the second round at http://hyderabad.spacegeneration.org/?q=node/47. First round applicants will be notified of their acceptance shortly, and second round offers will be made later in the year if the are still places available.
