My name is Jordan Brandes, i recently got accepted as a delegate to the SGAC and would like to become more active in my area. How do i go about doing that? I am a journalism major but i also have access to CAD/design tools and programs used for mechanical engineering blue prints. Please let me know any way i can be of service.

look into the communications format thread
since you use CAD
mabe you can learn blender
the main idea is its free
and you can have scripting for programs
you already have knowledge or 3d
so it may make it easier for you to learn
then you can (given the desighn aspects)
integrate your cad knowledge and the input from the forums
and make a moon colony desighn
i would suggest using the pillar and collumn teck
blender can also be given physics for objects
so all the desighn can be in real physics
