space generation/UN outer space agency certified professional
Dear All,
Our goal is to introduce space science and its benefit to the common people so I would like to make one proposal to the UN and space generation advisory council to start some programmes for creating good number of Space related professionals:
I realised almost every country's young people has introduction with computer, internet and some kind of softwear matter.So if we take intiative in cooperation with UN and other space related institute and organization to develop on line curriculam and exam like microsoft and oracle examination that will be more attractive to the young people in the developing countries.The curriculam can be:
01.UN certified space professional LVEL01, level02, level03, level04,level05 ETC
For level01: people from every field like journalist, lawer, teacher can take exam for their awareness about space, space related technology and uses.
level02: Will more comprehensive than level 01 and this course will be emphasize more field oriented. Such way expert body can do it.
And another exam can desinged also like:
01. Space generation certified GIS professional
02. Space generation certified GPs professional
03.Space generation certified fofest manager
04.Space generation certified desaster manager
05.space generation certified environmentalist
Because, its sure coming days space technology will be used for vust field so if we can start such programme then more people will attach with that programme and government to all organization also will open their eyes for it.Hope our movement will be faster such way.

FEMA (the US Federal Emergency Management Agency) does something like this for free via the internet, where by people can take online courses and get little certificates mailed to them for completing the course.
Of course there are non-profit organizations all over that do this kinda thing for various professional groups.
Perhaps we as the SGAC could offer our own mini certifications. Someone could create an on-line course and then we can grant certificates after passing the test with a high enough score.
Anyone want to step up and create something like this? First round would be just to put it all in text we can make it interactive/online later.
The idea is good for increasing awareness to the young people like me.
I agree with you but for the country like developing countries, I think time must be given a bit so young people can be aware of it first.They cant do the such test while they dont know more about SG and taking into consideration most of people here are not full time internet users.
But the idea is great.
this idea is really good. i only wish there were enough computers and connection in the developing countries of africa to enable youth participate in this. but there is nothing wrong in starting, we can do the best we can to participate and be space generation certified.
