Project Work and Tasks

Hi all,

You all seemed very concerned with the future of the planet, great !

I think the future will need a need direction in space ship mobility or propulsion.

The science I propose is cheaper than today's technology and would give a lifetime
of use. Its based on linac's like that at CERN, FERMI, etc.

We're getting closer and closer to the Congress and really need to get some things done beforehand.

I've copied Alex Karl's list of things to do (I really, really hope he doesn't mind) because that's essentially what we need to do.

Some of the following task we need to finish before SGC:

•Define contest (fully)

•Define Guidelines & rules (fully)

•Prepare internet presence (as much as possible)
We can set up "hidden" pages for our project on the SGAC server, so we can start building the competition web site.

•Prepare advertisement (as much as possible)

I think that maybe we need to get started on the website for this competition. Or at least decide how it will be run, when to put it up and who will work on it.

Ok, I know I've taken a bit of a break from this forum. However, I've come with penance. I have uploaded a brand new (ok, not THAT brand new. Just improvements on the first one) draft of our flyer.

The 'Aerobic Vehicle for hypersonic Aerospace TrAnpoRtation' (AVATAR) is a hyperplane concept from India.

This forum topic will deal, in structuring of the agenda and what we want to accomplish on during our meet at the SGC this year. Our goals, how we want to do the offical announcement etc.

This forum topic will deal with all issues relating to how to advertise, where to advertise(countries, universities,colleges ?).

This forum topic will deal with how to make funds possible for prizes...etc.

Ok. The Action station thread has gotten really long, but I don't think anything has really been DONE as far as this competition is concerned. We have set up most, if not all, of the criteria for this competition.
