Regional and National Forums

varous countries within africa have been active in the utilization of space related technologies for quite some time. however african countries have little resources individaully to pursue a dynamic space program aimed at sustainability. more over with the over lapping of borders and so many regional associations triving and cooperating in africa, it makes sense for african countries to unite in space.

As part of the 2008 UN COPUOS Meetings, SGAC would like to invite you all to submit any questions or comments that you might have for Members of the UN Subcommittees. As they gather to discuss how the international community will face the obstacles of space exploration, you can voice your opinions or ask for clarity on any space topic by posting below. During the meetings, SGAC will present these queries to the Members. We will then post responses onto the message board as soon as they are available.

Dear NPoC and RC of Africa,
It is very important that we make sure as many as possible young people get involved in SGAC activities and the annual congress SGC. The biggest obstacle to to participate on SGC is financial problems and i thought we may be able to reduce this by doing the following.
1. Let's look for funding from local
and international organizations
specifically for african
participants. This is a big job
for regional coordinators.
2. let's form SGC working group to
discuss problems, and possible solutions to
these problems, of space

Dear All,
We all are very use to with the word " global warming and its effect". We also know what is the reason of global warming.

May be you are aware about the strong strom which been happened in my country. Its the big treat from nature and big reason is global warming and with few year our 50% country land will go under water due to sea level high.Some other country like Maldip, Egypt and some other also will face problem.Every year so many seminars and workshops on this issue over the world but result not improve. So we are spending sleepless night to think about our future.

Dear members of SG form all the countries across the globe, as the National Point of Contact for Tanzania, I planned to establish a forum which will basically aim in bringing the Tanzanians young space enthusiasts close to the network, and our forum will target on the benefit that we can get by investing in Space Policy, as I believe that Space Policy can help in bringing development in Space Programme.
