Bio
Michael Roberts is an electrical engineer with the Boeing Company at the Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas, U.S., where he works in the consolidated avionics and software laboratories on the International Space Station program. He received the Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and is currently a distance learning student at the Naval Postgraduate School.
Michael is member of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics. He is also active with the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, where he chairs the GOLD (graduates of the last decade) program for IEEE Region 5 (southwest U.S.) and the Aerospace and Electronic Systems Society. He is a member of the IEEE's Aerospace and Electronic Systems society and the Engineering Management society.
When he's not working, studying, writing e-mails, or spinning records, you can usually find him reading trade journals and books about the business and technology of space exploration, and dreaming of the day when space travel is no more exclusive than air travel.
